Moses Gunn as Ted Tilley
Moses Gunn October 2, 1929 – December 16, 1993 He was the son of Mary and George Gunn, a laborer, and was one of seven siblings. After his mother died, his family separated. Moses left home and rode the railroad at just 12 years old. He returned to St. Louis and attended school while living at the home of Jewel Richie, his English teacher.He graduated from Tennessee State University, where he became a member of Omega Psi Phi fraternity Rho Psi chapter. After serving in the United States Army, he attended graduate school at the University of Kansas, earning a master's degree. He taught briefly at Grambling College before attempting an acting career in New York City. 
He was nominated for the 1976 Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play for his performance in The Poison Tree, and he also played Othello on Broadway in 1970. For his screen performances, Gunn is best known for his roles as Clotho in WUSA (1970), Bumpy Jonas in Shaft (1971) and Joe Kagan on Little House on the Prairie (1977–1981).

Hamilton (born April 25, 1930) is an American retired actress whose acting debut came in 1959 in John CassavetesShadows. She is best known for her recurring role as Donna Harris; Fred's girlfriend and later fiancée on the sitcom Sanford and Son (1972–1977) Cousin Georgia Anderson in Roots The Next Generation, and as Verdie Foster on The Waltons. She also appeared on the detective series Mannix in the season 3 episode 13 as the wife of a police detective who hires Mannix to save her son.
Career
Hamilton began her career in community theatre in Chicago and debuted on Broadway in Only in America in 1959.[6] She appeared in three other Broadway plays, many Off-Broadway plays and spent three years with the New York Shakespeare Festival



Keenan Winn as Doc Brisby


Francis Xavier Aloysius James Jeremiah Keenan Wynn (July 27, 1916 – October 14, 1986) was an American character actor. His expressive face was his stock-in-trade; though he rarely carried the lead role, he had prominent billing in most of his film and television roles. 
Wynn was born in New York City, the son of vaudeville comedian Ed Wynn and his wife, the former Hilda Keenan. He took his stage name from his maternal grandfather, Frank Keenan, one of the first Broadway actors to star in Hollywood. His father was Jewish and his mother was of Irish Catholic background. Ed Wynn encouraged his son to become an actor,[citation needed] and to join The Lambs Club, which he did in 1937

John Milford (September 7, 1927 – August 14, 2000 was an American actor in theater, television, and films, playing scores of roles, often as a Western villain. He was estimated to have had about 500 appearances in TV roles. 
Her life
Born in Johnstown, New York, Milford studied civil engineering at Union College[1] but chose to pursue his first love, acting. He "worked for some years with Los Angeles' Bureau of Engineering, Department of Public Work
